Stunning! Tan Le: A headset that reads your brainwaves
Wow! UK Pavilion and The Seed Cathedral at Shanghai World Expo 2010 by Thomas Heatherwick and Heatherwick Studio. A 20-metre high building constructed from 60,000 transparent 7.5 metre long optical strands, each of which has embedded within its tip a plant seed. The interior is silent and illuminated only by the daylight that has filtered through each optical hair. More info here

3D architectural projection at Beurs van Belarge, Amsterdam. Samsung presented their first 3D projector in May and the above formed part of the launch
Interesting idea…generating MML (Music Markup Language) from 3D surfaces inside Grasshopper. The resulting data was then used to program the sound chip on an 8-bit Nintendo cartridge. A work in progress by Aaron Willette.
